Dr. Sarah has gone through extensive training to be able to offer your family the best care possible. She is Webster certified (pregnancy technique) through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and is craniosacral trained and has experience helping moms of kiddos with oral restrictions (tongue and lip ties) early in life. Dr. Sarah is also certified in the Gillespie Approach and is now offering Craniosacral Fascial Therapy (CFT). She is able to walk families through all stages of life. The prenatal, postpartum or general family wellness stages are her specialty.

She completed her Doctorate of Chiropractic degree at Logan University (St. Louis, MO) with a special interest in pediatrics.

She received chiropractic care for the first time at the age of twenty-three and it completely changed her life. Growing up she suffered with severe allergies and asthma and had every treatment approach possible including multiple surgeries. Dr. Sammy Oberg has a unique passion for educating and empowering families to live a life full of health and abundance. She has had the privilege of serving families in practice since 2015 and it is her goal to help people reach and maintain their peak potential through chiropractic and healthy lifestyle choices. She loves to educate her patients about how the body is innately designed to heal itself when given the proper environment to do so.

Dr. Sammy was led to chiropractic after she began getting adjusted at the age of twelve. She was in studio and competitive dance and began having neck pain and also ended up with a knee injury. Through her chiropractic care both of these things fully resolved but even more than that, she experienced an increase in overall health and noticed that her body started to function better. The adjustments improved her allergies and asthma to a point where she was able to stop relying on her daily allergy medication and inhalers. After this experience, her eyes were opened to the power of a chiropractic adjustment and the positive impact of removing interference from the nervous system. She knew that she wanted to pursue chiropractic to help others achieve their optimal health too. She earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic degree at Northwestern Health Sciences University (Bloomington, MN). With her passion for pediatric and prenatal care, she pursued additional post-graduate education and training through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) and she is also certified in the Webster Technique. (The Webster Technique is a specific analysis and adjustment of sacral misalignment during pregnancy that normalizes the pelvic neuro-biomechanics and facilitates optimal fetal positioning by reducing intra-uterine constraint.) Dr. Sammy loves working with women pre-conception through birth and beyond to help them have comfortable and positive pregnancies as well as birth experiences. As a HBAC mama, she has a strong desire to educate and empower women about their choices throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum and she finds great joy in providing resources to help moms navigate that journey.

In her free time, you can find Dr. Sammy with her husband, John, their two kiddos, Emma and Asher, and pup Frankie. They just moved to Franklin in 2022 from Minnesota and love exploring together all that beautiful TN has to offer!
